Commission Guide for Sellers
At Grizzly Equipment Brokers, we keep things simple and profitable. We offer two clear commission models that are easy to understand and designed to earn you the most money, while rewarding us for getting top dollar. And best of all nothing paid upfront we get paid when you get paid.
1. Flat Commission Model (Best for $20K and Up)
You set the bottom-line number you need. We keep anything above that as our commission.
-
You get your price — no surprises.
-
We’re motivated to sell.
-
Works best for equipment $20,000 and up.
-
High-profit potential for both sides.
Example:
You want $60,000 for your wheel loader.
We sell it for $70,000 → You get $60K, we keep $10K. Simple.
2. Standard Tiered Commission Plan
| Final Sale Price | Our Commission |
|---|---|
| Under $5,000 | $500 flat |
| $5,001 – $25,000 | 10% |
| $25,001 – $75,000 | 8% |
| $75,001 – $150,000 | 6% |
| Over $150,000 | 5% or Minimum $7,500 |
Example: If we sell your machine for $68,000, our commission is $5,440 (8%), and you receive $62,560. If we sell it for $300,000, our commission is $15,000 (5%), and you keep $285,000.
For Equipment Under $5,000
Flat $500 minimum or 10%, whichever is higher.
This helps cover listing, handling, and buyer communication costs.
