Our story

At Grizzly Equipment Brokers, we do things differently. 🙂 

I’m Otto — that’s me in the center of the photo below. After years of working as a heavy equipment sales rep across Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota, I noticed something most dealers missed: nearly every conversation started with, “What can I sell you today?” But I saw a better way.

Instead of showing up just to make a sale, I began asking different questions:
“How can I help you?”
“Do you have any equipment you need sold or removed?”

That mindset shift sparked something bigger — a business built on service, not pressure. With the loving support of my wife Tina (to the left of me), who now serves as our Office Administrator, and our dedicated team members Robert and Shari, who handle logistics and appraisals, we launched Grizzly Equipment Brokers to help contractors, yard managers, and business owners like you turn idle equipment into cash.

We specialize in heavy equipment consignment, appraisal services, auction support, and private buyer connections — always with transparent terms and honest communication.

Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, we proudly serve customers in Omaha and across the Midwest. As we grow, our mission stays the same: to become your trusted partner in the construction and industrial equipment brokerage space.
